Stephane Dupoux

Born in France, Stephane Dupoux's passion for design developed at an early age and was strongly influenced by his parents' careers in the fields of psychology and hospitality. His design philosophy is a perfect combination of the analytical, mathematical form and function, married with the abstract, creativity and spontaneity. Today, Dupoux is regarded as a pioneer in the hospitality industry for applying design psychology, as well as his well-traveled, worldly experience and imagination to all of his projects.

As Founder and CEO of dupoux design, he has established an exceptional reputation as a cutting edge designer who creates innovative and commercially successful environments that reflect an idealized lifestyle. Over the past fifteen years, dupoux design has created a holistic approach to hospitality design that evolves from branding and identity to design and construction, ensuring quality each step of the way through project completion. Energy and volume are extremely important and he plans on educating people of that notion one client and person at a time. Stephane's designs rest strongly on his subconscious interpretation of nature as he works with its elements to fit today's modern world. He loves tradition and likes to juxtapose old with contemporary.

Prior to founding dupoux design, his colorful background includes being a furniture maker in Seattle and a commissioned artist in Miami. Recent national and international projects worthy of note include Buddha Bar and Cielo in New York; Nikki Beach, Pearl, Opium and Touch in Miami Beach; Cocoon in London; Vessel in San Francisco, El San Juan Hotel & Casino in Puerto Rico, Jean Georges' Restaurant at Citycenter in Las Vegas, Nilaia Hotel Resort & Spa in St Barths, Buddha Bar Hotel Resort & Spa in Egypt, as well as the groundbreaking hospitality concept NYLO Hotels.
